Girl Scout Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards

---- Through the Years ----

From it's humble beginnings in 1980 of two new pins; the Gold Award and the Silver Award stood for the highest achievements in Girl Scouting for the Senior and the Cadette levels of the program.

In 1981 a miniature "Parent" pin was offered for the Gold Award parent, but it wasn't until 1985 that associated products were offered.

The Junior level Bronze Award was introduced in 2001.

In 2011 the redesigned trefoil (point on the bottom) was introduced on the Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards.

Silver is noted as being "Rhodium finish" and the price is slashed by half.

1985 offers NEW! Sterling silver, and notes that the Gold Award is gold filled.
