Dating Official Girl Scout First Aid Kits is difficult.
Images in the catalogs always show the lid "up". After reading the
discriptions I was able to get somewhat of an accurate timeline for these
vintage kit containers.
Except for the first kit shown, Johnson & Johnson was the official
makers of all the first aid kits.
Not Shown: During the early 1930s with the green pocket size kit, the
catalogs note that there was a patrol size kit in black enamel. In 1945 a
Patrol size kit was offered - it looks like a lunch box. I don't know the
color or if it had the GS logo.
