Wrist watches for Girl Scouts were offered as early as 1926 in the catalogs, however, these watches did not have any Girl Scout logo on the face of the watch. That didn't happen until 1931 when an imported 6-jewel watch was first offered. By 1932 an American made version, with 7-jewels was offered. Ingersoll started in 1935 with 4 versions, then Guilford briefly offered a version, then Medana offered two different straps to it's watch in the 1950s. Timex jumped on board in 1957 and offered several varieties of watches, including the first Brownie Girl Scout watch 1962.
