Brownie Scatter Pin |

|
|
1966-1985 |
Before
the Daisy Girl Scout program was officially launched in 1984, Girl
Scouting ran testing programs for this age group in many areas. Donna
Crowe of Fenton, Missouri reports that their group used this pin as a
membership pin for the "Pixie" testing group of 1st graders at Our
Savior Lutheran School. The pin was sold through NES as an unofficial
pin for 30 cents.
This pin was sold in a version without
the orange accent paint. It was sold pre-1966 in a set with a bracelet
with a dancing elf pendant and a second matching scatter pin.
